Matt: Rambling through the ruins (the acropolis, two amphitheatres and an aqueduct) of ancient Nikopolis, the city Octavius built at the narrowest part of the isthmus of the peninsula which separates the Gulf of Arta from the Ionian Sea, in memory of his victory against Anthony and Cleopatra off Aktion (the ancient Actium) in the winter of 32/31 BCE.
